SOWELA Hosts Fifth Annual Women in
Non-Traditional Careers Seminar
LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA – April 12, 2017
SOWELA Technical Community College is hosting its Fifth Annual Women in Non-Traditional Careers Seminar on Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Arts & Humanities Building, Multipurpose Room. Representatives from area businesses and industry will present information on non-traditional career opportunities available to women in Southwest Louisiana.
Attendees seeking employment will learn how to begin their career in a high-demand job, engage with like-minded women that lean toward the same non-traditional path, and discover the steps required to apply for financial aid and gain admission to SOWELA.
Presenters from companies such as Sasol, Phillips 66, Calcasieu Business and Career Solutions Center, SOWELA and others will be available for a question and answer session following the presentation.
